The mission of the Athena Alliance Nonprofit is to empower, support, and celebrate women, enbies, and our allies in the gaming industry, as well as those who play games in an inclusive, but safe space. It is a gaming organization that was started by an initiative built and implemented by women in Charlotte, NC and surrounding areas. Our services include hosting tournaments, special events, and charity drives as well as consulting, livestreaming, mentorship, media production, brand and voice creation, community development and other facets related to esports. We encourage women and enbies in our collective to enhance and hone their STEAM skillset.

The Athena Alliance CLT is a women-led gaming organization dedicated to the empowerment of women, femmes, enbies, LGBTQIA community members, and our allies in gaming, as well as those who play games in an inclusive, but safe space. We complete this by open accessibility with our public and digital events, community outreach, and charitable donations along with continued support from our allies. Our goal is to endorse and support those that fall under our banner who are respectable and dedicated to our initiative.

Our first public event was January 18th, 2020, and since then we have held a variety of local events, digital panels, and convention appearances. We provide services from content creation, public events, marketing, consultation, livestreams, and tournaments.

Spaces that highlight and empower those in our collective that create content are very few and marginalized. We’ve created a supportive network who share a passion for gaming. Because the women in the space of gaming are so marginalized and disparate, it provides a unique opportunity for growth, interaction, mentorship, and viewership.
